We may be a new company, but we’re not new to DC real estate
Between the two of us, we carry years of brokerage experience navigating area neighborhoods. And relying on each other’s background and knowledge, we decided to come together to form an exciting new business.
Since we’ve worked at different brokerages, we know how rare it is to be able to work at a firm with individuals you trust like friends and respect as colleagues. To add, we’ve managed to create a work environment where we can have some fun while we do what we’ve been trained to do.
As the housing and development outlook of the District changes, we pride ourselves in knowing a great deal about the history of the neighborhoods and having our fingers on the pulse of the growing city. Our insight allows us to be at the forefront of development, and experts at achieving results.
Frederick “Fritz” Hubig
I’m a proven success-oriented entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in real estate, media, and technology development. I’ve managed to leverage all my knowledge to create District Real Estate®.
During my pre-District Real Estate® days, I enabled the Bryan Group to facilitate more than $150 million in real estate sales for several leading-edge developers, both publicly and privately held companies. At Keller Williams, I was a licensed NAR GREEN™ Realtor, responsible for selling the very first LEED Platinum home in Maryland (the Bethesda Netzero Home).
Outside of work. I enjoy participating in wellness and spiritual activities around the world. I’m also currently designing sacred geometry-based earth homes in Peru, which taps into my desire to design homes around modern lifestyles and technology that prove functional, efficient, and of course, stylish. I also actively support children’s rights and rainforest conservation groups.
I live in Ivy City with my extended family and trusted Baltimore street cat, 2 Socks.
I’m no stranger to the Washington, DC area. As a long-time resident, I know the District like the back of my hand. I understand DC’s rich history, I’m familiar with the area’s vibrant neighborhoods, and I understand where the city is headed in terms of development. And all my knowledge has served me well in my 11 years as a licensed Realtor®, guiding residential and commercial property transactions. Not to toot my own horn, but I know real estate, and I get to know each of my clients to ensure the property they are purchasing is best suited for them.
If you don’t catch me working on a deal, you may find me deep in a CrossFit session or in a meditative pose. I’m a disciplined Kundalini Yoga instructor. Plus, I sing in the Alexandria Harmonizers (a men’s a cappella chorus) and a new Cole Porter tribute quartet, Miss Otis Regrets.
